   HR_GPS MOD-TIMEX-Strip Tran Adapt kit

Almost ALL the human HRM manufactures do NOT  produce the block style
transmitter. My supplier, Cardiosport, has them made just for our use in the V-MAX EHRM.

There may come the day when the 'block' style transmitter will not be available. I have been preparing for this situation. I have developed an  adaptation of  the  human chestbelt strip transmitter. This is the same strip transmitter I use in the HEARTBELT and the HEARTCHECK. The adaptation is NON-INVASIVE. That is, I make no fixed  attachments to the transmitter. The warranty of the transmitter is not compromised.

The adaptation has  worked very well.

Since this adaptation has worked very well on the standard human strip  transmitters, I was able to use this method to adapt the transmitters of the new hi-tech  human GPS+HR monitors, TIMEX HR+GPS and the GARMIN 301/305/310

I have tested this adaptation since Dec 03 with the TIMEX GPSHR Bodylink. I have been using the GARMIN 301 since Mar 05.  The small EKG STICK-ON electrodes are performing  very well. I have used only ONE set of stick-on electrodes in 6 months. I expect these electrodes to last for many months per application. The use of this kit will permit the rider to purchase  any human HRM that uses the chest belt strip type of transmitter and adapt it for use with a horse.
